Day 3: Proverbs 3 The Map in the Backpack

Jordan Learns - Sometimes You Need a Map To Stay On Course

It's All About Trusting God When Life Feels Uncertain

Glow Story

Jordan was heading to a new summer camp — one he’d never been to before. His parents packed his backpack with snacks, a flashlight, and a folded map.

“Follow the trail markers,” his dad said. “And if you get confused, the map will help.”

Jordan nodded, but inside he felt nervous. What if he got lost? What if the trail split and he chose wrong?

Halfway through the hike, the trail did split. One path looked smooth and easy. The other was rocky and uphill.

Jordan pulled out the map. It showed the rocky path leading to a lookout point — the best view in camp.

He hesitated. The smooth path looked easier. But the map said otherwise.

So he trusted it.

The climb was tough. His legs burned. But when he reached the top, the view took his breath away — mountains, trees, sunlight dancing on the lake.

Jordan smiled. The map hadn’t just led him somewhere good. It had taught him to trust.

Core Truth: You don’t have to know everything — just trust the One who does.
