Day 2: Proverbs 2  The Hidden Treasure

Jordan Searches With Wisdom, Do You?

God Protects the Wise

Glow Story

Jordan loved exploring. He wasn’t the fastest kid or the loudest kid, but he noticed things — tiny details other people walked right past.

One Saturday morning, his grandpa handed him a small wooden box with strange carvings on the sides.

“This box holds treasure,” Grandpa said, “but only for someone who searches with wisdom.”

Jordan tried everything — shaking it, tapping it, even holding it up to the light. Nothing worked.

He flopped onto the couch, frustrated. That’s when he noticed something he hadn’t seen before: a tiny engraving on the bottom.

It read: 2:6

Jordan grabbed his Bible and flipped to Proverbs 2:6:

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

He paused.

Then he whispered, “Okay, God… help me see what I’m missing.”

He looked again — slower this time. He ran his finger along the carvings and felt a tiny bump in the corner. A hidden button.

Click.

The lid popped open.

Inside was a small scroll that read:

“Wisdom protects those who search for it with their whole heart.”

Jordan smiled. The treasure wasn’t money. It was a reminder: God gives wisdom to those who seek it.

Core Truth: Wisdom is a treasure worth searching for.

Action Step:

Before you make a decision today — even a small one — pause and ask: “God, what’s the wise thing to do?”

Reflection Question:

Where in your life do you need God’s wisdom right now?

Scripture Echo:

Proverbs 2:6–8 “For the Lord gives wisdom… He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.”
