Day 1: Proverbs 1 The Two Roads

Jordan Comes To A Fork In The Road Which Path Will He Take?

Choosing the Right Path is not always that easy. Sometimes it's hard and scary when we're not listening to the right people

Core Truth: Wisdom begins with listening to God.

Jordan's Glow Story

There was a boy named Jordan who stood at a fork in the trail. One path was loud and flashy — kids laughing, music blasting, lights flickering. The other was quiet, steady, glowing softly with lanterns that lit the way.

The loud path promised fun, fast rewards, and instant popularity. The glowing path promised wisdom, peace, and strength — but it looked slower and less exciting.

Jordan hesitated. The crowd on the loud path waved him over. But something inside whispered, "Listen first. Look deeper."

He stepped toward the glowing path. As he walked, he noticed things he hadn’t seen before — kindness, courage, truth. The farther he went, the stronger he felt.

At the end of the trail was a bench with a carved message: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”

Jordan smiled. He had chosen the better road.

Action Step:

Today, pause before you follow the crowd. Ask: “Is this the wise path?” Then choose the one that helps you grow.

Reflection Question:

Which path are you choosing today — the louder one or the wiser one?

Scripture Echo:

Proverbs 1:7 — “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

Prayer:

“God, help me listen to Your voice and choose the path that leads to wisdom.”
